Translated to this day and age this film is more about the question whether people still believe in the existence of God at all. In LETTERS TO GOD three families, who each in their own way have experienced a deeply moving event with their child, speak about this issue. A long awaited pregnancy, the death of a child and the amazing rescue of a toddler, experiences that have influenced their belief in God. Director Vuk Janic lets these parents talk about their internal struggle and their feelings of suffering, fear, anger and happiness in the form of letters to God.
