The Seventh Commandment: "Thou shalt not commit adultery" is probably the commandment that has been most sinned against. To vow eternal fidelity has been proved to be easier in theory than in practice. In her documentary Fatima Jebli-Ouazzani avoids platitudes and obvious judgements about fidelity and infidelity. In the film she follows the story of a woman, Carla, who was confronted as a child with her mother's adulterous affair. By chance she discovered the unfaithfulness. She didn't know exactly what was wrong, yet it was immediately clear that it had to remain secret. For years she has carried the secret with her. It has determined her life.
