Born 1951 in Peruvian capital Lima, where she lived till 1973. Studied Biology and Literature at Lima University and Film at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. Since 1978 Heddy Honigmann carries the Dutch nationality and is living in Amsterdam.
